Script Writer (Exp-2-3 years)
Job description:
We are looking for a creative Script Writer with 2-3 years of experience in writing ad films, brand films, and branded content. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both Kannada and English, with strong storytelling and dialogue-writing skills. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and developing engaging scripts, collaborating with creative teams, researching industry trends, and adapting content for various digital platforms. Proficiency in screenwriting software and a deep understanding of advertising and branded content are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and write creative scripts for ad films, brand films, brand series, and branded content, ensuring alignment with the client’s brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and brand managers to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate the brand message.
- Develop engaging storylines and dialogues in both Kannada and English, tailored to resonate with diverse target audiences.
- Research audience preferences, industry trends, and competitor campaigns to ensure originality and relevance in content.
- Adapt scripts for various digital platforms and social media campaigns, maintaining consistency in tone and messaging across branded content.
- Work closely with production teams during pre-production and filming to ensure the script's creative vision is executed effectively.
- Revise and refine scripts based on client and stakeholder feedback without compromising on creative quality.
- Stay updated on trends in advertising, branded content, digital media, and storytelling to bring fresh, innovative ideas to projects.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in scriptwriting, with a portfolio showcasing work in ad films, brand films, brand series, and branded content.
- Proficiency in both Kannada and English, with excellent storytelling and dialogue-writing skills in both languages.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, particularly in the context of advertising, branded content, and digital media.
- Familiarity with industry-standard screenwriting software (e.g., Final Draft, Celtx, WriterDuet).
- Ability to collaborate with creative teams and adapt to feedback effectively.
- Strong research skills and creative thinking to craft relatable and impactful narratives for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of trends in advertising, branded content, digital media, and consumer behaviour.
